Top Math Skills Your Child Learns in Kindergarten 2
Kindergarten 2 acts as the foundation of primary school math and there are essential skills important for children to master at this stage. For example, kids should get comfortable with geometry starting in Kindergarten. They are not at the level of using the Pythagorean theory yet, but they should know the different types of primary shapes and how to describe them.
For numbers, kids should be able to comfortably count up to 20, but ideally higher. Within the base of 20, kids should be able to do simple addition, subtraction, and put them in basic equations. All of those critical skills will be tested in the worksheet and for more information, please check out our blog about the top Kindergarten math skills here.
