On January 13, 2024, Spark Education rocked the house with the 2023 Global Spark Math Awards in Singapore. Over 100 Spark attendees in Singapore, and more than 200 Spark family members are beaming in from every corner of the world!
From the uplifting speech by our founder to the prize presentation, the event was a resounding success that left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. The energy was contagious, and the excitement, palpable!
From Founder Vibes to Prize Thrives
Our esteemed founders, Mr. Mark Luo and Mr. Xiaonan Wang, graced the occasion as our distinguished speaker and award presenters. The ceremony unfolded with an inspiring address, infusing the gathering with intellectual resonance and anticipation.

10 Awards That Sparkle Like Our Star Students
Our Spark Math Awards ceremony was nothing short of a star-studded affair, featuring 10 award categories that shone as bright as our brilliant students. From Sudoku Star to Honour Roll, each award celebrates the unique spark in every learner!
Sudoku Star Award
Awarded to the top 10 Spark Math champs in various Spark Sudoku competitions. Presented by Mr. Xiaonan Wang, Co-founder and GM of Spark Education.
Scholastic Distinction Award
Awarded to the highest Spark Math achievers in various international math competitions. Presented by Mr. Owen Zhang, Manager of Spark Learning Centre.
Math Excellence Award
Awarded to Spark Math students with consistent exemplary performance. Presented by Mr. Owen Zhang, Manager of Spark Learning Centre.
Diligence Award
Awarded to Spark Math students with strong commitment to academic tasks and responsibilities. Presented by Mr. Owen Zhang, Manager of Spark Learning Centre.

Awarded to top Spark Math students with extraordinary commitment to learning. Presented by Teacher Julius, Teaching Services Manager of Spark Math Advanced Programme.

Awarded to top performing Spark Math students who have shown confidence in sharing ideas in class discussions and Little Teacher Presentations. Presented by Teacher Roy, Upper Primary Curriculum Specialist.

Awarded to top performing Spark Math students who have shown notable growth in confidence, expression, and more. Presented by Teacher Zoe, Lower Primary Curriculum Specialist.

Presented by Teacher Zoe, Lower Primary Curriculum Specialist. Awarded to Spark Math top performers who not only excel academically but also actively support in all Spark activities and events.
Spark Parents’ Pride
Parents beamed with pride as their little mathematicians confidently owned the podium. The ceremony also provided insights into Spark Math’s diverse courses, special programmes, and online and in-person classes. Professional consultants recommended suitable courses based on each child’s unique circumstances.
Our proud parent, Lucas, shared, “We want our son Legolas to grasp challenging Math concepts. The immersive experience provided by Spark Math helps him appreciate the learning process. Legolas enjoys interacting with familiar faces in the virtual classroom, and Spark Math has boosted his confidence in tackling various Math concepts.”
Spark Math Awards didn’t just cheer for the math stars; we celebrated the hard work and progress of all our Spark Math students worldwide. To date, our students in Spark Math Competition Programme have clinched over 8000 awards across 12 international math competitions including Math League, SASMO, Math Kangaroo, and Mathematical Association of America’s AMC 8.
The pride and support for each award recipient echoed through the venue, creating an uplifting atmosphere of celebration and encouragement. Together, parents, teachers, and students inspired one another to reach new heights!
