Spark Education Group is honoured to be the recipient of the Recognition Award of HR Powerbank Early Adopter from President Halimah Yacob. We were humbled to receive the award at the Human Capital Singapore – SG Enable Masterclass, which was held at The Istana on 3 November 2022.
Launched by Mdm President in 2021, the HR Powerbank is an initiative that advocates for inclusive and diverse hiring. It aims to support the employment of persons with disabilities by training them to work in the human resources and administrative sector.
Spark Education is an organisation that deeply values diversity and inclusion. By being an early adopter of HR Powerbank, Spark Education is working towards building a more inclusive and healthy working environment where our people can thrive. We are currently working with HR Powerbank to employ persons with disabilities.
“We all have a part to play in making the workplace inclusive. As an educational company, Spark Education believes it is also important to be socially responsible. We are committed to helping society transform for the better,” said Mark Luo, founder and CEO of Spark Education Group. We recognise that businesses and organisations play an important role in shaping society, and are devoted to driving positive changes.
Mdm President said in her speech, “Together, we can achieve our shared vision of a fair and inclusive society, where persons with disabilities are enabled to pursue their aspirations, achieve their fullest potential, and participate as integral and contributing members of society.” It is vital to us that Spark Education can give back to society by providing meaningful employment and empowering people with disabilities to pursue their goals.
Spark Education is proud to support this aspirational initiative and strives to work towards a more diverse and inclusive Singapore.
